It's the most wonderful time of the year!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

As you probably have already guessed both school and the children are buzzing with the Christmas spirit!

There will be no more home learning or spellings until the new year. The children's holiday learning is to enjoy themselves and make wonderful memories.

This week we will collect in all of the children's individual reading books to save them from being misplaced over the holidays. Please continue to read anything and everything (especially those instruction manuals from all the lovely new toys that need to be built!)

We hope you all enjoy the production this week, the children have worked incredibly hard.

WOW! What a day!

Wow! Would you believe it? We just had to share with you what a fantastic day it has been. The photo above is of the children completing their Literacy work on word classes. With no fuss, excuse or chatting the children set straight to work. Here they are 20 minutes in and you could have heard a pin drop! It was amazing! Ask your child about their partitioning work.....what can they remember?  This has quite possibly been the best day of learning so far.

Easter Homework

First of all, we would like to say a HUGE thank you for working so hard throughout the year so far. Everything you have achieved has been amazing! For your homework over the Easter holidays we would like you to see how many of the tasks you can achieve. 1. Grab a book and read! 2. Go for a long, muddy walk.  3. Eat a chocolate egg (or two). 4. Curl up with a ginormous bowl of popcorn and watch a film. 5. Sit back and watch the clouds. 6. Play a board game. 7. Meet up with a friend. 8. Go out for cake and people watch! 9. Make a cake, biscuits or anything that takes your fancy. 10. Tidy your bedroom!!! Most of all, relax and enjoy yourselves over the holiday so you return raring to go. Have a great holiday!
